Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll transactions
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) for client review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks/Xero for transaction recording and reporting
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audits
- Provide financial insights and reporting recommendations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent certification
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Experience with multi-currency transactions (a plus)
- Ability to meet daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of managing client financial data securely
