Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and budget variance analyses
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax compliance
- Manage client bookkeeping software (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Assist with audits and financial reporting for 15-20 clients
- Develop and implement streamlined accounting workflows
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly/year-end filings
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
