- Manage end-to-end billing processes for healthcare clients, including charge entry, claim submission, and payment posting
- Resolve billing discrepancies and denials through precise analysis and follow-up with insurance providers
- Generate monthly billing reports and reconcile accounts receivable to ensure financial accuracy
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify documentation compliance and coding accuracy
- Implement billing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce claim rejections
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, CMS)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with insurance claim submission and reimbursement
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems and medical coding (CPT, ICD-10)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for complex financial reconciliation
- Proven ability to resolve billing denials and insurance payment issues
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare revenue cycle regulations
- Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or similar credential preferred
