Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile invoices with precision using SAP and Oracle systems
- Manage accounts receivable and resolve payment discrepancies within SLAs
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify insurance coverage and billing codes
- Generate monthly financial reports for executive review
- Train staff on billing compliance and HIPAA regulations
- Implement process improvements to reduce billing errors
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or complex billing experience
- Proficiency in billing software (Epic, Cerner, or Meditech)
- Certified Billing Specialist (CBS) or CPC credentials preferred
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
