- Reconcile patient accounts and payment discrepancies
- Generate monthly billing reports for leadership review
- Collaborate with coding team to ensure CPT/ICD-10 compliance
- Train staff on billing system updates and processes
- Audit billing documentation for regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic and NextGen systems
- Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) preferred
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA and CMS regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
