- Process and submit insurance claims with 98% accuracy
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient inquiries within 24 hours
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain secure patient financial records
- Analyze billing reports to identify revenue leakage opportunities
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding and documentation
- Train staff on billing system updates and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Proficiency in Epic, Centricity, or similar EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with electronic claims submission (Availity, etc.)
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
