Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 95% accuracy for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
- Manage accounts receivable ledger and resolve outstanding balances within 45-day window
- Conduct thorough patient billing inquiries via phone/email with 95% satisfaction rate
- Reconcile billing discrepancies using Epic EMR and Medisoft systems
- Generate monthly revenue reports for finance leadership
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all billing documentation
- Train staff on new billing protocols and CPT/ICD-10 updates
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Finance or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years medical billing experience with CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EMR and Medisoft software
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential required
- Expert knowledge of Pennsylvania insurance regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage high-volume billing cycles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
