Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle billing processes including invoice generation, payment posting, and account reconciliations
- Resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries with exceptional communication skills
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate chargebacks and credits
- Maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA, CMS) if applicable
- Analyze aging reports and implement strategies to improve cash flow
- Utilize billing software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) for efficient transaction processing
- Prepare monthly billing reports for financial review and auditing purposes
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience
- Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of billing cycles, payment processing, and reconciliation
- Exceptional attention to detail with error detection skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience with healthcare billing a significant plus
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) credentials desirable
