Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims to maximize reimbursement
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient account issues
- Generate invoices and manage accounts receivable
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Collaborate with insurance carriers and patients
- Generate monthly billing reports for leadership
- Update billing systems with accurate patient data
- Support month-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Proficiency in Epic, Medisoft, or similar EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with insurance claim denials and appeals
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
