- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to service
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Generate monthly billing performance metrics for leadership review
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document chargeable services accurately
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Expertise in Epic EMR and NextGen billing systems
- Proficiency in CPT/ICD-10 coding guidelines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
