- Resolve billing discrepancies through insurer/patient communication
- Manage accounts receivable and aging reports
- Utilize Epic/NextGen EMR for charge entry and coding
- Conduct monthly audits for compliance with HIPAA and CMS guidelines
- Collaborate with clinical teams on documentation optimization
- Train staff on billing protocols and updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience in a hospital/clinic setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and UB-04 forms
- Advanced knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Blue Cross regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and billing software
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration or related field
