Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 95%+ accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies through meticulous account reconciliation
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits for all services rendered
- Manage denial appeals and follow-up with insurance carriers
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all billing documentation
- Collaborate with clinical teams to capture complete charge information
- Generate monthly revenue reports for financial analysis
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Expertise in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EMR and Medisoft software
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
