Responsibilities
- Process and post invoices accurately and timely to ensure timely payment.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and initiate collection efforts for overdue accounts.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries professionally.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a weekly basis.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all billing records.
- Generate monthly financial reports and analyze revenue trends.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, collections, or revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or medical billing EHR systems).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
