Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, coding, and distribution
- Resolve billing discrepancies and account receivables issues with clients
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to reconcile contracts and service records
- Analyze aging reports and implement collection strategies for outstanding balances
- Maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations (if applicable) and internal policies
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for data entry and reporting
- Train staff on billing procedures and system updates
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of billing/receivables management experience
- Proficiency in Excel and billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, Medisoft)
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Experience with electronic claims submission and HIPAA compliance
