Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage accounts receivable by sending out timely invoices and collecting outstanding balances.
- Utilize accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) to enter and update billing data.
- Communicate professionally with clients and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all billing records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Identify trends in billing errors and suggest process improvements to the finance manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of error-free data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Experience with medical billing or SaaS billing is highly preferred.
