Responsibilities
- Process and submit accurate insurance claims and patient invoices within strict deadlines
- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct communication with insurance providers and clients
- Maintain detailed documentation of billing transactions and payment histories
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations
- Collaborate with collections team on overdue account management
- Utilize Epic and Medisoft software for billing operations
- Generate monthly revenue reports for financial analysis
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience with insurance claim processing
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Proficiency in billing software (Epic, Medisoft) and MS Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare billing regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with error reconciliation skills
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Healthcare Administration
