Responsibilities
- Generate, review, and distribute accurate invoices to clients across multiple service lines
- Resolve billing discrepancies and payment delays through proactive client communication
- Manage accounts receivable ledger with meticulous attention to aging reports
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure contract terms align with billing practices
- Process credit card payments and ACH transactions while maintaining PCI compliance
- Prepare monthly billing reports for financial analysis and stakeholder reviews
- Implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in medical or corporate billing environments
- Proficiency with billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Epic) and MS Office Suite
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and GAAP compliance
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to resolve complex billing disputes
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting preferred
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) credential highly desirable
- Proven ability to meet strict deadlines in high-volume transaction processing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions
