Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing cycles including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation
- Resolve billing discrepancies and customer payment issues with exceptional communication
- Analyze financial data to identify revenue optimization opportunities
- Maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA, CMS)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition
- Generate monthly billing reports and performance metrics for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or professional services billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic EHR or similar billing software platforms
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and claim submission processes
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Proven ability to meet 95%+ billing accuracy metrics
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
