Responsibilities
- Process and submit accurate insurance claims and patient invoices for 500+ healthcare providers
- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct communication with insurance carriers and patients
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific regulations
- Generate monthly billing reports and analyze aging accounts receivable
- Collaborate with coding teams to ensure proper CPT/ICD-10 documentation
- Implement process improvements to reduce claim denials by 15% annually
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Proficiency in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR billing systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
