- Resolve complex insurance claim denials and patient payment inquiries
- Analyze revenue cycle data to identify process improvement opportunities
- Ensure HIPAA/GAAP compliance in all billing documentation
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding accuracy
- Generate monthly financial reports for executive review
- Train staff on billing system updates and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Expertise in Epic, Cerner, or NextGen billing systems
- Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) or CPC preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and billing analytics tools
- Demonstrated success in reducing claim denials by 20%+
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial payers
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
