Responsibilities
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash checks accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and educating customers on bank products.
- Accurately balance cash drawers and daily transactions at the end of the shift.
- Assist in the opening and closing of new accounts, including collecting required documentation.
- Cross-sell and refer customers to appropriate bank products and services to meet branch goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller line area, ensuring compliance with all branch standards.
- Identify and escalate potential security risks or suspicious activities to branch management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous customer service or cash-handling experience is a plus but not required for our paid training program.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
