As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of financial transactions while providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing with a focus on speed and precision.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and resolve inquiries with patience and professionalism, ensuring a positive banking experience.
- Drawer Balancing: Verify and balance cash drawers daily to ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Product Promotion: Identify cross-selling opportunities for savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards to help customers grow their wealth.
- Operations Support: Assist with opening and closing procedures, maintaining the lobby environment, and organizing financial paperwork.
- Problem Solving: Address customer concerns and troubleshoot routine banking issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous cash handling or customer service experience is highly valued.
- Skills: Strong mathematical skills and exceptional attention to detail are essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse clientele.
- Technology: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with banking software (e.g., FIS, Jack Henry) is preferred.
- Integrity: Must be able to pass a background check and credit check.
