Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash withdrawals, deposits, and account transfers.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service to enhance the member experience.
- Identify and cross-sell credit union products and services to meet member financial goals.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile discrepancies within established timeframes.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, loan applications, and form completion.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment at the teller line.
- Adhere to all federal and state banking regulations and internal security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Must pass a background check and credit check as required by the position.
