Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet all members with a welcoming attitude and provide high-quality customer service to ensure satisfaction.
- Identify and cross-sell financial products and services, such as loans, credit cards, and savings accounts.
- Manage cash drawer balances with strict adherence to security protocols and daily reconciliation.
- Assist members with account inquiries, balance inquiries, and troubleshooting basic account issues.
- Adhere to all regulatory compliance policies, including KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the lobby and teller line.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory for qualified candidates.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash accurately under pressure.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and a credit check (where applicable by state law).
