Responsibilities
- Execute financial transactions for customers with speed and accuracy, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive banking experience.
- Cash checks and handle currency and coin exchange with strict attention to detail and security protocols.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile transactions to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities for bank products and services to meet individual sales goals.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, navigating digital banking tools, and resolving service issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure teller workspace in compliance with bank policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle money with high precision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new banking software.
- Must pass a background check and obtain necessary banking credentials.
