Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service at the teller window and during lobby interactions.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet individual and branch sales goals.
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and balance cash drawers to ensure financial integrity.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently while adhering to strict bank compliance policies.
- Assist with account opening, closing, and maintenance procedures for new and existing clients.
- Keep the teller workstation organized, clean, and fully stocked with supplies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
