As a Bank Teller, you will be the face of West Texas Community Bank, serving as the primary point of contact for our valued customers. We are looking for individuals who are customer-focused, reliable, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Balance cash drawers and resolve any discrepancies at the end of the shift.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with account inquiries and service needs.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote our banking products and services.
- Open new accounts and assist in the closing process when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller workspace.
- Adhere to all bank security policies and compliance regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
- Strong math skills and the ability to perform basic arithmetic quickly and accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to pass a background check and credit check.
