Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashing checks, processing deposits, and handling withdrawals.
- Resolve customer inquiries and account issues with patience, professionalism, and a focus on first-call resolution.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet branch sales targets and customer financial needs.
- Verify customer identities and adhere to all regulatory compliance and security protocols (BSA/AML).
- Perform daily cash balancing, reconciliation, and audit procedures to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller line area, ensuring all safety and security procedures are followed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; previous teller or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle cash responsibly under pressure.
- Familiarity with banking software, ATMs, and point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
