Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries regarding account balances, products, and services.
- Ensure the security of cash and financial assets by adhering to strict bank regulations and internal controls.
- Open new accounts and cross-sell financial products such as CDs, loans, and credit cards to meet sales goals.
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and reconcile the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse client populations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software.
- Must pass a background check and a credit check as required by banking regulations.
