Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately and efficiently process a wide variety of financial transactions, including cashing checks, processing deposits, and withdrawals.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding accounts and services, and provide professional, friendly assistance at the teller window.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the end of each shift.
- Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to introduce customers to our banking products, such as savings accounts and loans, to help them achieve their financial goals.
- Problem Solving: Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction scores.
- Compliance: Adhere to all banking regulations, policies, and procedures, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with branch management and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; previous banking experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and excellent attention to detail.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse clientele.
- Integrity: Must possess a high level of trustworthiness, honesty, and ethical conduct.
- Experience: Previous experience in cash handling or customer service is a significant plus.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch needs.
- Technology: Proficiency in using computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) terminals.
