Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with high accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to resolve inquiries and issues.
- Open new accounts and assist existing clients with account management and product cross-selling.
- Ensure the security of the branch by adhering to all banking regulations and internal policies.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized lobby and teller area.
- Refer complex customer needs to the appropriate branch manager or specialist.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; associate's degree or banking certification is preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience is highly desirable.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and credit check.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
