Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide excellent service to enhance the client experience.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily reports to ensure financial integrity.
- Assist customers with account closures, transfers, and explaining complex banking products.
- Identify and cross-sell financial products to meet individual and branch sales goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to strict security and compliance regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior banking or cash handling experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle large sums of cash accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch schedules.
- Proficiency with computers and basic knowledge of banking software (e.g., FIS, Core Banking Systems).
