Job Summary
As a Bank Teller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our branch. You will be responsible for processing transactions accurately, resolving customer inquiries, and promoting our suite of financial products to help clients achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and fund transfers for customers.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving account-related issues efficiently.
- Product Promotion: Cross-sell banking products such as debit cards, credit cards, and savings accounts to meet branch sales goals.
- Account Management: Assist in opening new accounts and maintaining existing customer relationships.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to all banking regulations, security protocols, and Know Your Customer (KYC) laws to prevent fraud.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a customer service role within the financial industry is preferred.
- Skills: Strong mathematical skills and the ability to count money rapidly and accurately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Integrity: High level of trustworthiness and adherence to ethical standards.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
