Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive and seamless banking experience.
- Open new accounts and cross-sell bank products and services to meet and exceed branch performance goals.
- Manage the cash drawer with precision, balancing daily transactions and ensuring accuracy at the end of each shift.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance inquiries, and resolve any issues or complaints professionally.
- Adhere to all banking regulations, compliance standards, and internal security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in a banking or retail environment is preferred.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash with high accuracy and speed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with POS systems and banking software.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed during transactions.
- Must pass a background check and credit verification.
