Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately and efficiently handle customer deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Customer Service: Provide superior service to all customers by greeting them warmly and resolving inquiries with professionalism and patience.
- Product Sales: Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services, such as savings accounts and credit cards, to meet branch goals.
- Cash Handling: Maintain accurate cash drawers, balance daily transactions, and adhere to strict cash control policies.
- Compliance: Ensure all banking regulations and internal security protocols are followed during every transaction.
- Problem Solving: Assist in resolving customer issues and escalate complex problems to the Branch Manager when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in finance or business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail banking, customer service, or cash handling is preferred.
- Skills: Strong mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technology: Proficiency with computer systems, ATMs, and point-of-sale equipment.
- Reliability: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
