Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with 100% accuracy
- Balance cash drawers daily and maintain strict adherence to audit procedures
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding accounts, services, and digital banking tools
- Actively cross-sell bank products (checking accounts, loans, credit cards) based on customer needs
- Open new accounts and assist with loan documentation preparation
- Uphold regulatory compliance including BSA/AML protocols and security procedures
- Collaborate with branch team to achieve sales and service goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- Minimum 1 year cash handling or customer service experience
- Proficiency with banking software and digital transaction platforms
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays
- Professional demeanor with commitment to confidentiality
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
