Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize LiDAR/camera fusion algorithms for object detection in complex urban environments
- Design fail-safe redundancy systems for autonomous navigation at SAE Level 4
- Implement real-time decision-making frameworks for dynamic traffic scenarios
- Lead validation testing in simulated and real-world driving conditions
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate next-gen sensor systems
- Document technical specifications and contribute to patent filings
Qualifications
- M.S. in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of experience
- Expertise in Python, C++, and ROS for real-time embedded systems
- Proven track record with autonomous perception stacks (point cloud processing, SLAM)
- Deep understanding of ISO 26262 functional safety standards
- Experience with NVIDIA Drive/Pegasus or similar automotive compute platforms
- Strong background in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Published research in autonomous systems or computer vision conferences
