Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel deep learning architectures for next-generation autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives integrating quantum computing with classical ML models
- Develop ethical AI frameworks ensuring responsible deployment in sensitive domains
- Author high-impact research papers for top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)
- Mentor junior researchers and foster collaborative innovation across departments
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into scalable production-ready solutions
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through compelling proposal development
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of applied research in deep learning with peer-reviewed publications
- Expertise in at least two: NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning, or quantum ML
- Proficiency in PyTorch/TensorFlow with experience in distributed training frameworks
- Strong background in computational complexity theory and algorithm optimization
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research funding
- Experience deploying models at scale in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
