Responsibilities
- Lead cutting-edge research in generative AI, quantum machine learning, and ethical AI frameworks
- Design and implement novel neural architectures for autonomous decision-making systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to commercialize research into scalable products
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in advanced AI methodologies
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF, DARPA, and industry partners
- Develop patentable AI solutions for climate modeling, personalized medicine, and sustainable energy
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Published record in top-tier AI conferences (5+ NeurIPS/ICML papers)
- Expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks
- Deep understanding of transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and causal inference
- Proven ability to translate complex research into production-grade systems
- Strong background in AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI deployment
- Experience securing federal research grants and managing large-scale projects
