Responsibilities
- Lead groundbreaking research in generative AI, quantum machine learning, and neuromorphic computing
- Develop novel algorithms for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration frameworks
- Publish high-impact papers in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, NeurIPS)
- Prototype and validate next-gen AI models using our 500-qubit quantum annealers
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates in advanced AI methodologies
- Secure $5M+ in research funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Collaborate with product teams to commercialize breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in AI, Computer Science, Computational Physics, or related field (2018 or later)
- 3+ years of research experience with quantum machine learning frameworks
- Published 5+ papers in top-tier AI/quantum conferences (ICML, QIP, etc.)
- Expertise in transformer architectures, quantum circuit design, and neuromorphic hardware
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow Quantum, and Cirq
- Demonstrated success in securing government research grants
- Experience with large-scale distributed computing (Kubernetes, Slurm)
- Strong background in ethics and responsible AI development
