Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-classical hybrid neural networks for exponential computational gains
- Develop proprietary AI algorithms to optimize quantum error correction and stability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-ML applications for healthcare and climate modeling
- Author breakthrough research papers for Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design next-gen quantum processors
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics (or equivalent research experience)
- Proven expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum/AI conferences (NeurIPS, QIP)
- Mastery of Python, TensorFlow, and quantum circuit simulation
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors or ion traps
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or quantum annealing
- Ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into production-ready systems
