Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year AI roadmaps aligned with emerging societal trends and technological capabilities
- Lead ideation sessions for breakthrough AI applications in healthcare, climate science, and human augmentation
- Collaborate with quantum computing teams to prototype next-generation neural interfaces
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders including government agencies
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI deployment
- Mentor junior researchers in futurist methodologies and speculative design principles
- Publish thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals and industry white papers
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or Futurist Studies with 5+ years applied research experience
- Proven track record of developing AI products with societal impact (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in transformer architectures, generative adversarial networks, and reinforcement learning
- Familiarity with speculative design methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published research in Nature, Science, or IEEE journals preferred
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams including neuroscientists and ethicists
