Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive ethical guidelines for AI deployment across autonomous vehicles, healthcare, and financial systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement bias mitigation algorithms in machine learning pipelines
- Lead stakeholder workshops with policymakers, industry partners, and community groups
- Conduct risk assessments for emerging AI technologies using established ethical frameworks
- Author thought leadership reports on AI governance and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Advocate for ethical AI standards in regulatory consultations and industry forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of AI governance experience
- Proven track record in developing ethical AI frameworks for commercial applications
- Expertise in regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse audiences (technical, non-technical, regulatory)
- Published work in AI ethics or technology policy journals
- Experience with cross-functional agile development methodologies
