Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI ethics policies and governance frameworks aligned with EU AI Act, NIST RMF, and emerging regulations
- Conduct ethical risk assessments for high-impact AI deployments in healthcare, finance, and autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional working groups including engineers, data scientists, and legal teams to implement ethical safeguards
- Design algorithmic bias mitigation strategies for large-scale ML models using fairness metrics and explainability tools
- Advocate for ethical AI principles at industry forums and contribute to policy discussions with regulatory bodies
- Monitor real-world AI deployments for ethical compliance and recommend corrective actions
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, Law, or related field with 5+ years of AI governance experience
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ACM Code of Ethics) and regulatory landscapes
- Proven track record implementing bias mitigation techniques in production ML systems
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences
- Published research or industry recognition in AI ethics or responsible AI development
- Proficiency in fairness auditing tools (IBM AIF360, Google What-If Tool) and causal inference methods
- Experience scaling ethical AI programs across enterprise environments
