Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with global regulatory standards (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Conduct algorithmic audits for bias, fairness, and transparency across machine learning models
- Develop stakeholder engagement strategies for diverse communities affected by AI deployments
- Create governance protocols for AI lifecycle management from development to decommissioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed ethical considerations into product roadmaps
- Proactively identify emerging ethical risks in generative AI and autonomous systems
- Represent InnovateX in industry coalitions shaping global AI policy standards
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Expertise in bias detection techniques for machine learning models and datasets
- Proven track record developing organizational AI ethics policies and governance structures
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF) and compliance methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with participatory design methods involving marginalized communities
- Publication record in AI ethics or responsible technology fields
- Proficiency in Python for ethical auditing tools and bias metric calculations
