Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives to identify ethical implications of emerging AI technologies (AGI, neural interfaces, quantum computing)
- Develop and implement proprietary ethical frameworks for AI deployment across healthcare, finance, and autonomous systems
- Partner with product teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycles
- Present findings to global regulatory bodies and industry consortiums (IEEE, WEF)
- Establish industry benchmarks for AI transparency and bias mitigation
- Mentor junior researchers through our Ethics Fellowship Program
- Author white papers cited in next-generation AI policy discussions
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of applied AI ethics experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, ACM) on algorithmic bias or responsible AI
- Expertise in regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF) and policy development
- Proven track record of implementing ethical safeguards in production AI systems
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex ethics to technical/non-technical audiences
- Experience with federated learning, differential privacy, and explainable AI techniques
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-cultural ethics initiatives
