Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for autonomous AI systems
- Lead cross-functional research on bias mitigation and algorithmic transparency
- Develop predictive models for emerging AI ethical challenges
- Partner with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycles
- Present research findings at global AI ethics summits and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Advocate for responsible AI adoption in policy discussions and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Proven track record publishing in top-tier AI ethics or ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML)
- Expertise in fairness metrics, interpretability techniques, and bias detection algorithms
- Experience working with regulatory bodies on AI governance frameworks
- Strong background in at least one: healthcare AI, autonomous vehicles, or financial systems ethics
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
