Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI models
- Lead cross-functional research teams in bias mitigation and fairness algorithm development
- Author industry whitepapers and policy recommendations for AI governance
- Conduct ethical audits of AI deployments across healthcare, finance, and autonomous sectors
- Develop certification protocols for ethical AI compliance
- Partner with policymakers to shape regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Mentor junior researchers in philosophy of technology and applied ethics
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI research experience
- Published work in top-tier AI ethics journals (e.g., ACM FAccT, NeurIPS Ethics)
- Expertise in fairness metrics, bias detection algorithms, and explainable AI
- Experience developing AI governance frameworks for enterprise deployments
- Strong background in moral philosophy and ethical theory
- Proficiency in Python, R, and statistical analysis tools
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical implementations
- Experience testifying before regulatory bodies or industry coalitions
