Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning pipelines
- Design transparency protocols for explainable AI (XAI) in high-stakes applications
- Collaborate with quantum computing teams to establish ethical guardrails
- Advocate for responsible AI adoption through industry consortium participation
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering, legal, and policy teams
- Author thought leadership on emerging AI ethics challenges for 2026+
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Philosophy, Computer Science, Public Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, governance, or responsible tech development
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, state-level regulations)
- Proficiency in bias detection tools (Aequitas, Fairlearn, IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Experience with quantum computing ethics and autonomous systems validation
- Published research on algorithmic accountability or value alignment
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CAG, GAIC) or equivalent practical experience
