Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for autonomous AI systems deployed in high-stakes domains
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments for machine learning models using 2026-era datasets
- Develop policy blueprints for AI-human collaboration in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, critical infrastructure)
- Create transparency protocols for explainable AI systems operating in regulated environments
- Lead cross-functional working groups on AI ethics with industry partners and government agencies
- Proactively identify emerging ethical challenges in generative AI and synthetic media technologies
- Author white papers and position papers on responsible AI adoption for 2026 technological landscape
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in AI Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years experience
- Deep expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, state-level AI governance laws)
- Proven experience implementing bias mitigation techniques in production AI systems
- Familiarity with quantum computing ethics and post-quantum cryptography implications
- Strong background in participatory design methodologies with diverse stakeholder groups
- Publication record in top-tier ethics/technology journals or conferences
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CEGAI, FAIR AI) or equivalent practical experience
- Experience working with neuro-symbolic AI systems and hybrid human-machine decision interfaces
